Just finished an 8 day tour based at Itororo Lodge birding the whole elevational range of the Serra do Mar Mountains. A great weeks birding despite it being unseasonably cool. Some fantastic birds with highlights including Swallow-tailed Cotinga, Green-crowned Plovercrest, Red-necked Tanager, Green-headed Tanager, Gilt-edged Tanager, Brassy-breasted Tanager, Long-trained Nightjar, Black and Gold Cotinga, Saffron Toucanet, Spot-billed Toucanet, Toco Toucan, Three-toed Jacamar, Black-necked Aracari, Large-tailed Antshrike, Giant Antshrike and so many other amazing Atlantic Rainforest birds!
