A great day birding the higher elevations of the Serra do Mar today, many great birds including Grey-winged Cotinga, Black and Gold Cotinga, Rufous-tailed Antbird, Large-tailed Antshrike, Serra do Mar Tyrannulet, Itatiaia Thistletail, Thick-billed Saltator, Velvety-black Tyrant and Pallid Spinetail. Some great birds also at the Itororo Lodge feeders today including Gilt-edged Tanager, Saffron Toucanet and Black-goggled Tanager (photo below, Andy Foster)
