Another day of the Rockjumper tour with plenty more birds…… Today was spent birding Pico da Caledonia, quality rather than quantity up there with plenty of higher altitude endemics to be seen. We managed to get all of our target birds today, these included Swallow-tailed Cotinga, Grey-winged Cotinga, Black and Gold Cotinga, Rufous-tailed Antbird, Serra do Mar Tyrannulet, Itatiaia Thistletail, Velvety-black Tyrant, Mouse-coloured Tapaculo, Thick-billed Saltator, Green-crowned Plovercrest, Large-tailed Antshrike, Bay-chested Warbling Finch, Serra do Mar Tyrant Manakin and Rufous-backed Antvireo! Photos from today include Grey-winged Cotinga, Bay-chested Warbling Finch and Green-crowned Plovercrest (Andy Foster)
