Just finished the first full day of the Naturetrek tour, we spent the day birding the Macae de Cima trail, as usual this did not dissapoint and we saw some great birds! Highlights from today included Spot-billed Toucanet, White-bearded Antshrike, Tufted Antshrike, Giant Antshrike, White-bibbed Antbird, Black-billed Scythebill, White-collared Foliage Gleaner, Sharp-billed Treehunter, Uniform Finch, Orange-eyed Thornbird, Rufous-capped Spinetail and Bare-throated Bellbird! Photos from today include Spot-billed Toucanet, White-bearded Antshrike and althougha common bird, White-crested Tyrannulet that showed so well! (Andy Foster)
