Another top days birding on the 5th day of the Rockjumper birding tour. We spent the day birding at high altitude and had all of our target birds in the bag by 11.30! Highlights included Grey-winged Cotinga, Black and Gold Cotinga, Swallow-tailed Cotinga, Itatiaia Thistletail, Green-crowned Plovercrest, Rufous-tailed Antbird, Serra do Mar Tyrannulet, Large-tailed Antshrike, Thick-billed Saltator, Diademed Tanager, Serra do Mar Tyrant Manakin, Amethyst Woodstar, Velvety-black Tyrant, Shear-tailed Grey-Tyrant and Bay-chested Warbling Finch.
