It’s amazing how fast a year passes! Here we are again back at Itororo Lodge with Glenn Bartley and his group ready for a photographic tour of the Atlantic forest, Pantanal and Chapada dos Guimaraes. We have just completed our first full day of the tour having spent a full day in the Itororo Lodge grounds photographing various species coming in and out of the feeders and within the lodge grounds. Photographic highlights have included Gilt-edged Tanager, Rufous-headed Tanager,… Scaled Woodcreeper, Brassy-breasted Tanager (for one lucky trip participant!), Azure-shouldered Tanager, Golden-chevroned Tanager, Ruby-crowned Tanager, Saffron Toucanet (although distant!), Pale-breasted Thrush, Burnished-buff Tanager, Maroon-bellied Parakeet, Violet-capped Woodnymph, Scale-throated Hermit, Brazilian Ruby and White-throated Hummingbird.
