Just completed the 4th day of the Birdfinders tour, we spent the day birding around Duas Barras and Sumidouro with one of our main highlights being the Three-toed Jacamar, however we saw so many other great birds during the day including Gilt-eged Tanager, Streamer-tailed Tyrant, Crescent-chested Puffbird, Aplomado Falcon, Bat Falcon, Red-legged Seriema, Serra Antwren, White-eared Puffbird, White-eyed Parakeet, Blue-winged Macaw, Whistling Heron and Black-necked Aracari.
Yesterday we birded Pico da Caledonia with again many highlights including Black and Gold Cotinga, Grey-winged Cotinga, Itatiaia Thistletail, Diademed Tanager, Bay-chested Warbling Finch, Serra do Mar Tyrannulet, Green-crowned Plovercrest, Red-legged Seriema, Crane Hawk, White-rumped Hawk, Rufous-backed Antvireo and Rufous-tailed Antbird!
