Field Guides tour

The last couple of days of the Field Guides tour saw us returning to the Theodoro and Cedae Trails and also birding theĀ Green Trail within the Lodge grounds looking for a few missing species. We were pretty successful picking up a handful of new species including Oustalet’s Tyrannulet, Sharp-billed Treehunter, Shrike-like Cotinga, Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper, Such’s Antthrush, Drab-breasted Pygmy Tyrant and Green-winged Saltator. It was a great weeks birding and thankfully we only had heavy rain on one afternoon. We saw many good Atlantic forest endemics during the 9 day tour, tour report coming soon!
